KING MILLENIUM 2
The second boat from the fleet started in the 2007 season. A modern
catamarán built in Australia in 1995, and renovated in 2006, specifically designed to charter the Mentawai Islands searching for waves. A fast boat and confortable boat, it builds its vibe around the original boat but with world class service. All levels of surfers have enjoyed our vessel, from hungry pros looking for epic barrels, to underground surfers searching magic loneliness with Friends.
She is 19m long with a beam of 7.5m with an average cruising speed of 12 knots going up to 15 knots and carries 12 clients in 4 large cabins featuring independent TV, DVD and air conditioning.
The large living area features a large couch, a plasma screen, Wii gaming and a home cinema system. There are several resting areas from where to enjoy the scenic views such as the deck lounge area and the bow. The two bathrooms and the kitchen and the living room areas are outdoors.
KING MILLENIUM CONFORT FOOD
Food is a key part of the “King Millenium Culture”. We value taste, health and authenticity. Our chefs, “Edu xxxx” and “xxx XXX” prepare delicious meals, both European and Asian cuisine so our guests can also sample some delicious Indonesian food. Meals are based around fresh local produce such as fish, fruit, vegetables sourced from small farmers, pasta and meat. 3 meals per day plus avariety of snacks
in between meals so all our guests can get a healthy diet.
We guarantee a comprehensive diet to meet the demands of all our guests. Our guests are entitled as many fresh fruit juices, soft drinks and bottled water as they want within a reasonable limit. The package includes 2 daily beers; all extra beers are paid at local prices. Our crew has many years experience in surf charters.
The bridge is equipped with a satellite phone, GPS, sonar, radar, USB and a 16 channel radio. The boat is fitted with an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB) for emergency signal, flares, lifejackets and a life raft for 20 people. We strongly recommend our guests take out travel insurance in case they need to be evacuated.
CONDITIONS OF USE OF JETSKI
Only the guide can authorize its use depending on sea and weather conditios.Unless theclient is a seasoned jetski user (by the guide standars), it will not be used individually.The jetski will be used for, getting closer to the breaks, photographers and cameramen, short
cruises near the boat.Town in, in this case the guides will decided in which spot it can beused depending o crows and safety for all.
KING MILLENIUM 1
The legend set sail in 2003. It was meant to answer to the wildest
dreams of David and Poti, to share their stoke with surfers from around the world, while fueling their lifestyle and passion for the islands. Since then, thousands of surfers have enjoyed some of their most memorable surf moments aboard KM1. Sturdy, authentic, confortable, master of cool a second to none entry level option to have a taste of the magic of the archipielago.
The King Millenium I is a 20m long boat with a 6m beam that has an average cruising speed of 10 knots. It was designed and built in Indonesia by surfers for surfers to sail confortably and safely, with different deck and chill areas to spread the guests and breath in the amazing sunrises, sunsets and views of firing waves while you sip on a good sumatran coffee or a cold Bintang.
It has 3 double rooms and a 4 person room with air conditioning, ample single beds and individual cupboards. The top deck features a wide living room with dining table, comfy couches, air conditioning, TV, DVD and stereo. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom is ample. There’s also a nice lounge deck area from which to watch the
waves. The boat also has a little auxiliary dinghy to ferry clients between the boat and the waves, to take pictures, etc.
